Neighbourhood Coffee @ Happy Garden

Waking up on a Sunday morning determined to spend it a little differently than usual  - S said "Let's eat somewhere new today! I heard there are many new cafes in Sri Petaling and Bukit Jalil". Since we were planning on trying Neighbourhood Coffee's pancakes, Sri Petaling seemed to be an obvious choice. 

Only.. to our surprise, Neighbourhood Coffee has since moved to Happy Garden! Something to note if you're planning on heading there - because their Waze and Google search would still bring you to Sri Petaling. Thankfully, though, they only moved 5 minutes away. 

If you're living in Klang Valley, Neighbourhood Coffee would probably be a familiar name to you. Why, you ask? Because of their Fuwa-fuwa Japanese Soufflé Pancakes! With it being the 21st century, you've probably seen pictures on Instagram!

I reckon if clouds were edible, it'd have the same texture as these bad boys. It was truly light

and fluffy. S loved it, I on the other hand prefer something with more.. texture? Haha, I suppose it was too light for my liking. 

P/S: preparation time takes about 20 minutes. If you head there on the weekends, and if there's a crowd, be prepared to wait close to 45 minutes for the pancakes! Also, I think the pancakes would go better with their house-made whipped cream instead of soft serves. Maybe because only a select few would actually like black sesame soft serves in the first place? I don't know.
